Since the end of the 19th century, the Museum in Jicin has been striving to acquire, preserve and present evidence on the history of man and his environment. The museum collections and exhibitions present not only the cultural and natural values of the town of Jicin, but also document the greater region of Jicinsko and the southern parts of the Cesky raj Geopark.
The Museum in Jicin seeks to offer its visitors an environment in which they feel good and where receiving new information will not be a boring process but an unusual and playful experience, the „Museum of Play“ – a game of discovering information, a game of perception, a game of learning…

Martin Mulač: Resurrection
The exhibition summarizes the young artist's work to date, which is characterized by a Baudelairean search for beauty in ugliness, a tendency to detabulize generally rejected themes and a certain urgency of selected themes reflected in their constant repetition.
